HSH Hydraulic Rotary Actuators

with Hydrostatically Bedded Drive Shaft

In the case of the rotary actuators of the type HSH the radial and axial bedding of the drive shaft is hydrostatic. In this type of bedding the drive shaft is centred in radial and axial direction and is separated by an oil film from the bearing points. Wear and tear caused by metallic friction is thereby eliminated in any operating condition compared to the hydrodynamic plain bearing, even at a speed next to zero.

In connection with highly dynamic control valves and rotation angle sensors, these drives are preferably installed in controlled systems, in which disturbance variables such as internal friction and stick-slip effects are to be reduced to a minimum. Furthermore, due to their lacking internal seals they are excellently suitable for test series with major load change figures for which an interruption, e.g. of the change of internal seals, is not permissible.

We offer customised solutions for the most varying implementations. Our qualified team is glad to be at your disposal for advice.
